Consistently tasty ramen
I've been coming to Ramen Tatsu-ya for a while now, and they always deliver. This time I got the Sho-Yu with some Karaage on the side. The Sho-Yu broth is lighter than the Tonkotsu but still super savory, and the chicken Karaage was crispy and seasoned well, as usual. I really appreciate that the quality is always consistent, unlike some other ramen places I've tried around Austin. They definitely know how to do ramen right, which is why I keep coming back for more.
Quick lunch spot
I grabbed the Mi-So-Hot for lunch today. It was pretty good, had a nice kick to it. Service was fast which was cool since I was on a tight schedule. Overall, it hit the spot.
Good Tonkotsu, service could improve
I ordered the Tonkotsu OG with an extra Ajitama Seasoned Egg for takeout last week. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, just what I was expecting from a good tonkotsu. My only real gripe was the wait time; they quoted 20 minutes when I called it in, but it took closer to 35 before my order was actually ready. A minor inconvenience, but it's happened before.
